Wavy Upper Bumper Pad

Hey guys,

I finally got an '05 bumper (paid waaay more than I wanted too, dang you UPS. ) but the upper bumper pad is wavy. Is there any way to fix this? It will be going to the body shop for paint as soon as it arrives, but is this something I could fix? Or do you guys have any suggestions that I could pass on to the body shop?

Hopefully I don't have to buy a new one....

Re: Wavy Upper Bumper Pad

I just did the wifes 05 conv today and it turned out ok as far as waves in it , but I did look under an actual 05 and there are a bunch of push pin connectors that help that top pad down . I didn't have any for mine but it might help take it out .

Where are the push pin connectors? I'm a little fuzzy.
