02 headlamp

So last night I was driving with around and a friend noticed one of my HID's wasnt sitting right, so we pulled over to check it out, and sure as hell the bulb was backed out and had melted about 3 inches of the lamp away and dang near set the truck on fire. I was just wondering if anyone had an extra passenger side headlamp for an 02 theyd like to part with for cash or whatever. Its either get a used one or get some pretty crystal ones. Thanks.

Re: 02 headlamp

it backed out of the socket and the bulb just melted down what it was touching, it got pretty damn hot. Ill get a few pics of the whole situation so yall can see the carnage.

Re: 02 headlamp

It was just my understanding they do not get very hot but maybe that is incorrect info. Do you have aftermarket housings or factory Ford housings?
