Low tire sensor info

I changed my tires from winter to summer on the stock 18" rims and had them aired to 70 lbs. The low tire sensor stayed on and would not go off. I stopped by my wife's Lincoln dealer as it was on my way home. The head mechanic asked me for my tire sensor reset fob??? I told him I had never seen or heard of one. He got out my manual and sure enough, on page 227 in the 2008 Super Duty manual, we are all supposed to have one!! He got out his shop reset fob, and in 30 seconds had all of the tire sensors reset. No more problems. If you don't have one of these critters, you need one. I went to my Ford dealer and he ordered me one, right then.

Re: Low tire sensor info

There was no part number listed in the 2008 SD manual. I just called the dealer where I ordered it and he has no record of the order, so I can't give you a part number. He is looking it up and will order it again. When I finally get it, I'll let you know the part number.
