Rims & Tires

What is the largest size tire you can get on a stock rim? is a 315/75/16 pushing it? or will it do but just look stuffed?

Re: Rims & Tires

I ran a 315/75/16 Toyo MT on my stock rims, but that was under a 6" lift so it didn't look stuffed at all.

Re: Rims & Tires

I ran 315/75r16's on stock rims and hated it. Cornering sucked. I'll never go back.

Re: Rims & Tires

i have 315s on stock rims. the local tire shop always yells at me. The general rule of thumb is keep tread width within 4 inches of rim width. 315/75r16 are basically 35 x 12.50 tires. So you should have at least an 8 1/2 wide rim

Re: Rims & Tires

go to the wider wheel. i have done that before i hated it. vibrated like no other and wore uneven. that and it just looks dumb. kinda like a fat man and a little coat

02 f-250 xlt with leather, BTS trans. dp-tunes, afe. 40" bfg km2 on some 20's. and a bunch of other stuff that doesent make it any faster.
