Engine stand

Whats a good engine stand to use for the 7.3 ?

Need it to be on wheels, able to rotate

Keep in mind I dont wanna drop 500+ on a stand I will use only a few times

Race truck
2002 F-350XL RC/LB
NADP Race Trans/PCS'd
Lowered w/ traction bars
33" Nittos on 20" Fuel Hostages
Unlimited 450/400s
S475 on Irates mount
TE 17* with Gen3
DI Headers
Dieselboy fuel system
[email protected]
599.3 on BDs dyno

Tow pig
2000 F-250XLT EC/SB
Tuned

id say make one.... get some 14 gauge sheet metal (or i dont know what thickness??) and some square tubing...could be fun to..i like making stuff, idk about you.

The engine weight dry is around 920# I believe, so be sure to get something with a little over kill. I know you don't want to spend a bunch, but I'd hate to see someone hurt from skimping on safety.

Maybe I will make one

And I thought are motors were in the area of 1200#

I saw some good ones at Northern Tools the other day, pretty reasonable.

i have gotten a few rated at 1500's from harbour freight that are pretty nice, they have some chincy ones too. These are heavy gauge metal and have four wheels and the legs fold up
