You talking about the rubber seal in the outer axle housing?They just press in there and fall out in short order.Mine have been dangling for well over 200k miles easy.

Yeh outer axle seal.Keeps water and contaminants from entering the axle housing tube.I pay no attention to mine damn things popped out just about after I purchased the truck brand new.

Are you guys talking about the big seal on the stub shaft or the seal on the inner shaft.......the first post mentions the stub shaft, but it sounds like you guys are talking about the inner shaft.....???????
