URGENT-Parking brake and clutch pedal problems

My parking brake broke the other day. I have had this happen before and replaced the broken cable. This time it appears to have broke inside the pedal assembly. I need to take it out and look, but didn't have the time last weekend. If it needs to be replace where would be a good source for something like this?

Also my clutch pedal is really worn out and wobbles around ALOT. The bushing holes in the aluminum part where the the pedal pivots are REALLY worn out. I am actually a bit worried. So where could I get that part.

I am currently having to drive the truck since I had to order a tire for my motorcycle. Doing a lot of clutchless shifts, and parking on flat ground. Quick help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: URGENT-Parking brake and clutch pedal problems

I think I would check with www.powerstrokeshop.com for both issues.

I'll have to check them tonight, my work blocks their site as an advertisement.

I'll try and call in a little while. Gotta run to tour a controlled access area.

Re: URGENT-Parking brake and clutch pedal problems

OK didn't get to call but checked the website. They have nothing on clutch pedal, but they have a listing for a parking brake control. ????? Is that the parking brake pedal assembly???

Also found a recall on parking brakes but its for MY 1999. Anyone know where I can find out more info?

Anywhere else I can look for a clutch pedal? Am I going to have to make one???

So the parking brake assembly broke or the cable broke?

Re: URGENT-Parking brake and clutch pedal problems

My parking brake assembly broke and I ordered mine from powerstrokeshop.com. I replaced it this past weekend and works fine. All the years are the same.
