Blend door problems, not vacuum pump.

Alright fella's got a problem with the blend door on my truck. It's in default defrost only mode. Vacuum pump is good have vacuum under the dash. Don't know what to check next. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks Kyle.

Re: Blend door problems, not vacuum pump.

The blend door is electric and has nothing to do with defrost. Only hot and cold.

There is a vacuum actuator at the bottom of the HVAC unit that does one of the direction things. Not sure if it's defrost or not. You can see it do it's thing just by getting down there. Check the vacuum lines under by the passenger foot well. I can't imagine it being the switch, but it can be got at by pulling the radio and dash. Not a bad job.
