Nite shades on headlights

Whats your opinion on blacking out headlights.............I did the tails and they look cool!
Anyone got any pics of there blacked out headlights ?

Oh and how do I get my headlight off

I have had the headlight covers on my truck before. I love them during the day, but i couldn't see at night. I usually took them off at night. I have never used the night shades, these were the covers i believe they were made by GTS or something similar.

I know this has been disgused before.... but can you get that stuff at advanced auto or napa?

Don't put that stuff on your headlights. Buy some removeable covers like were mentioned above or get some newer harley headlamps. Be a shame to wreck your rig because you couldn't see what was up the road ahead.

naw i was thinking about doing my tails and the ugly front amber corners....

I did my 3rd brake light because it is so high up it doesn't really serve any purpose. For those of you wet sanding before you spray, what grit are you finishing up with?

I sanded with 1000 grit (dry) prior to starting to tint them.



As for the Niteshades stuff...it's made by VHT so some auto parts may have it (I've never found it). I ended up using spray tint from Hobby Lobby (meant for tinting model car windows).
