Smoked cab/tail lights

I'm looking to get a set of smoked cab/tail light lenses for my '02 and wanted to know if anyone had pics of them installed. Been looking at the Recons. Thanks in advance.

Re: Smoked cab/tail lights

recon LED smoked lights, my only complaint with them is that they didn't come with any sort of hardware to mount them to the cab. Factory ones have studs and is a 1 man job, recons you gotta buy something to do it, and this makes it a 2-man job unless you wanted to epoxy or glue whatever bolt you buy to the light base itself and them tighten them down.

They have been on for over a year though with no troubles and I think look great, plenty bright at night too.

Re: Smoked cab/tail lights

I got Nightshades at NAPA. Lightly scuffed the lenses with a red 3M pad. Clean. Two light coats. Wet sand with 2000 grit. Clean. 4 coats of clear. Buff and wax.

Re: Smoked cab/tail lights

Thanks for the pics, both look great. Sagebel-what kind of clear did you use? Rattle can, what brand, has it peeled/discolored? Thanks in advance.
