new injectors

looking at new stage two or three injectors for my 01 powerstroke, would i be better off going with single shots over the original double and if so how much would a conversion kit cost minus the injectors

There is no converison cost.



And yes going to singles will be better.

only conversion cost is a tune so your truck knows whats going on.

All your conversion kit is is your tunes. Theres a newer set of stage 2s and 3s in the classified section. Single shots are the only way to go. Use less oil and easier to tune.

08 duramax ccsb efi live, air dog 2, isspros, 5 inch exhaust and some other cool things. 2001 duramax 2wd (Project truck)
Once had a signature that had some bad ass stuff on it. Now its back to crap.

would the tune have to do with the chip or programer? all i have done to mine is just the edge juice with attitude and a 5" exhaust. i kept telling myself thats all i was going to do with perfermance but that was a bad idea lol i got the bug and it wont go away to get more power out of it

Ditch the edge for a custom tuned chip. The custom tunes will allow you better performance and allow you to run singles.

I personally would look into custom tuners that offer free reburns for life. That way if you change something it dont cost you more in tunes everytime. Thats one thing I like about gearhead.
