DIY Tranny filter and coolant filter

If anyone is interested in doing a DIY tranny filter or coolant filter here are some inexpensive filter heads. OK the coolant filter isn't really all that cheap bbut you can put together a filter setup for under $75

The hammer is the #1 tool lol thought about bolting it but I knew It was never going to come off and didnt want to chance of things getting loose... and I was looking for an excuse to weld something lol

Re: DIY Tranny filter and coolant filter

Honestly I rigged up a coolant filter at work for when I flush systems. I took flat steel, shaped it over the radiator mount, drilled holes and it fits perfectly over it. I than took another piece and made a support bracket that screws to the intercooler bolt
