I assume you mean this one, but mod it to mount to the removable dash panel?

yes, in your opinion, is there enough room to mount that pod on the removable dash panel under the steering column?

Re: under dash gauge pod question

There might be room to mount it, but would it be practical there? Could you even see it? Would it interfere with entry, exit, and driving?

You can do anything to your own truck regardless if it makes any sense.

Re: under dash gauge pod question

There is no were you could mount it and still be able to see it... There is still the overhead pod, the dash top pod and the dash wrap...

Re: under dash gauge pod question

yeah, i like your 4 gauges on the instrument panel, i dont think i have enough room in my A pillar to run more wires up to a overhead pod.... autometer not so expensive gauges. ha ha.

personally i can look down under the steering wheel and see the panel how i have my seat set back and leaned. but i would be worried about hitting it.

guess ill have to look into the instrument cluster... and get creative to make some ultralite's and a phantom or 2 fit.

Any pics of this? Im running into the same issue, im wanting to buy three more gauges and do a quad POD on the A pillar and maybe a dual overhead POD, but am open to suggestions on where else to put them. I cant put them where your three are in the pic because i have a bin that opens up there that i use. Thanks.

Re: under dash gauge pod question

Couldn't you plumb the wiring up the pass side pillar? I sure wouldn't want to take my eyes off the road long enough to look down there on a windy mtn road. I would want them up at the windshield level myself
