in addition to the 4 that comes with ford...is there more that i can get?

any after market company make some, if so- where do they mount? i was thinking about mounting them where the 4 wheel drive thing usually goes cause my truck is 2wd.

i need like 2 more...anyone know any companies? or can i buy an extra set of the 4 from ford and mount them somewhere?

Re: upfitter switches, but i need more....

There was a guy on TDS that sold them from Alaska. I put three were the 4x4 switch would go and they look really good IMO.
I'll try to remember to get a pic to post up.

Yea you can get them from powerstrokeshop.com complete with relays for 85 dollars. im in the middle of fiberglassing an overhead console for them (i dont have one) and i cant put the switches in the normal position cause i have a 99 sooo adding them is definitely not impossible its just up to you to decide where use your imagination.

Re: upfitter switches, but i need more....

ahh, I think they were like $45 total for the three. The switches came with the lettering, there's a whole line up to choose from, and they are Rocker style switches. The guy I bought them from is in alaska, and I don't have his number anymore because those fairies at TDS deleted all my private messages. I'll see what I can dig up for you though!

Re: upfitter switches, but i need more....

This should be a sticky for how often it is asked.

Shane Linse Switches

Switch Installs

I would rather not post his email address, just in case the bots watch this site but if you click on any of the switch pictures, his email address is listed on there. I also have his old phone number if anyone wants it but you will have to PM me for it.

Shane is great to work with. I bought quite a few switches from him some time ago. I had tons of questions and he was always more than happy to answer them. I know he used to work away from home sometimes for a month at a time, so be patient if he does not reply right away. I believe it took him two weeks to reply to my first message but he responded quickly every time after that.

Yep, those are the links I was looking for, his names shane. He's a real great guy to work with. And be patient, because he still works for 2 weeks away from home at a time and he will reply to you!
