What to lineX...OH.

I want to linex my truck to cover up and stop a few spot that are starting to bubble up on my wheel wells... only problem i cant find anyone that does it for a good price.. also i dont know if it will look good because the truck is dark blue and idk if i should go black or try to get it to match the paint. if anyone knows of a good shop or has pics of there lineX please give me some imput... thanks guys

Where are you located? I had a shop near fredericksburg VA line-x some motorcycle stuff for me, turned out quite nice. 3yrs later and a bunch of off road riding it looks just about the same as when it was sprayed. I went with the black. I think colored line-x might look a little funny, but haven't seen it in person.

I'm not sure its ideal for rust prevention by itself. I'd probably scuff the surface, then paint it with a good rust stopping primer, then hit it with the line-x.

Do you not trust yourself enough to do it yourself? It's rather easy.

Me and several others on here have done it...

99.5 F250, 4x4, Lariat, CC/SB, 4r100 Gauges, Intake, Exhaust, Lots of black/smoked parts

well i can do it myself cause i paint...but i dont trust myself if i dont go with black. idk how to match the paint and lineX. i also dont know if it will look good or not..

a few guys with 6.4's did colored lineX on the rockers, might want to check with them to see how its holding up.

Just curious, but what's your definition of a "good price"? Making it look good won't come cheap, and the material itself is not cheap either.

That said, if you're not liking the quotes, give DIY'ing it a shot.
