single cab vs extended cab weight?

Ok i have a question that i cant seem to with the search.

What is a average weight of a 2wd single cab long bed and extended cab short bed?

I know most people get a single cab for a race truck, but im not having much luck find a single cab in my area for the price i want. So i was thinking about get a extended cab short bed instead. I know it has the extra cab, but has a short bed instead of a long bed.

Thanks and if anyone could post a link with ford specs on a 2wd single cab and extended cab i would appreciate it, i couldnt find much on google.

Re: single cab vs extended cab weight?

Thanks thats what i was looking for. I cant see much of a big difference between the two. seems like the extended cab would be nice for the extra room for passengers.

Anyone else have any good reasons to get a single cab over extended?
