Re: WOW--new shocks went on today!

Honestly, I think those are best off the shelf shocks available, PLUS, they are monotube..

For the ultimate, and those with no budget, or a big budget...

A set of Fox, FOA, or Bilstein, 2.5 or 3 inch resevoir shocks, tuned to your truck, are the best..

you are looking at a MINIMUM of 150 per shock...and thats if you order them with the valving already in range, still need to fill them with nitrogen..

Sorry for the off topic..

But....

As soon as the budget allows, I will have the 5100s...

Love them...

Re: WOW--new shocks went on today!

Rancho 9000's have a lifetime warranty. Why did you not just get them replaced? Any Rancho dealer should have been able to replace them. At least I thought they were.

Re: WOW--new shocks went on today!

The 5150s are OUTSTANDING shocks... but, they arent a 2.5 or 3 inch shock..

They are still part of the 5100 family... thus, a great shock...

And, @ 99 a pop... IIRC, you got a pretty good deal on them as well... havent priced a set in a while.. Had them in my Bronco..
