recon mirror lenses

I bought recon clear mirror lenses and I can't get them to fit right. If anyone has them did you have fitment problems? The lense it self doesn't fit back tight to the mirror cover and the cover doesn't fit back on the mirror then either.

Re: recon mirror lenses

Yes I had fitment problems. They are definitely not of the same quality as OEM. I finally got mine to an acceptable appearance by super gluing shims in certain places.

I'm on my second set of cab lights and this set is also starting to yellow.

One of the four rows of LED's on my third brake light flickers on and off now.

I sent them an email two weeks ago and they have yet to respond.

My clear lenses will be changed back out for oem shortly.

Re: recon mirror lenses

No issues with mine... One thing about the clear... If your not 100% up on cleaning your truck all the time, the space between the lens and the mirror gets junk in it that you can see. Kinda a pain to clean out later. Mine have only been on for about 6 months, but I drive with my lights on all the time.

Re: recon mirror lenses

I don't know if I want to try and make them fit or send them back. Does anyone know of another company that makes clear lenses for the mirror?

Not pickin on any one brand, but I never been happy with any aftermarket lens for my truck. I am on my third set of turn lamps.
