This is the best option for turning larger tires and not killing the power steering box.

holy sh!t!! i think i will pass. is there any upgraded pumps you can buy? i cant justify spending $1200 on power steering, plus the factory pump needs to be replaced

I know it is expensive. But it is made to be able to turn 44+ inch tires while standing still. It takes all the load off the PS pump.

you must have other problems, I've had 2 powerstroke's with 37" or larger tires and had no problem turning them even sitting still. I read a good article about flushing the fluid and refilling with synthetic. I haven't tried it on my truck but it works on the Volvo cars I work on

Looking at the one from agr, cuz my stock is whining like crazy, it says 97-2002 is that just because the 6oh was offered in 2003 or will it not fit a 2003 7.3? What do you guys think?

That kit is really easy to fab up yourself if you into building your own stuff. The steering box is super easy to pull apart and drill and tap the two holes.
