Budro Mod done...step by step pics

First...yea...it's filthy. I haven't felt like cleaning anything and it rained again this morning so shut up.

OK...started with this:

Yanked the bumper...obviously.

Trashed the blocker beam...not like I need it anyway.

5 minutes with a Sawzall and there's no going back now.

Separated the bumper mounts from the part of frame I lopped off and added some 1/4" flat bar to stiffen it up.

Measured about 40 times and welded the mounts back to the frame.

And that left me with this:

I definitely like how everything lines up better than before.

I had to make some new pieces to stiffen up the bumper...the old ones attached to the blocker beam...didn't take pics of those.

Spending money I don't have on crap I don't need to impress people I don't know.

It does look better. How long did it take?

Bout time. Looks good! I wished I had taken pictures when I did it, but I was half scared I would document my failure.

I'm doing my rear bumper sometime between now and TS.
