Oh just incase you don't know, jack the wheel off the ground to relieve pressure off of it when your swapping it out. Don't ask me how I know.....

Re: Warn Premium Hubs

How long to R&R a set of hubs? I've never done them before but as I recall I was told they were real basic.....is that correct?

Re: Warn Premium Hubs

My 93 is on it's second set, the last owner had them replaced a few years ago figgure about 10 years or 120k miles. He hardly ever used 4x4 too. In alot of ways your better off if you use in on a normal basis to keep everything moving around in there.
Took my buddy & I about half a day to replace the hubs on my old F150. That includes the parts runs that we had to make & the fact that neither of us had ever replaced a set of hubs before. I've played with mine before too & all I can tell you is to get a good set of ring plyers & a book on it. You may have to sit there & do it a few times, but you'll get the hang of it & it's not that bad.
Just consider this.....

Re: Warn Premium Hubs

Hubs are pretty easy...

Snap ring pliers, and some other basic tools.. and you will be good to go...

After putting the Warns on, I wouldnt worry about replacing them...

Rebuilding them is a simple matter... and only costs a fwe bucks to rebuild... o-rings... carb cleaner, and grease...
