'05 dash into a 2000 truck?

Has anyone put a later model dash bezel/surround in an early model SD?
I am looking to update the look of my interior, and wondering if it is even possible to put a later model dash in it.

Also, would the lights and airbag deactivation switches plug right in?

TIA.

Bill.

well the whole dash part is the same... I think the guage cluster is where you would find problems

Yea, I did not plan on changing the gauges just the bezel.
Give it that 05 look.

Thanks.

Isn't the center where the AC controls are different? I think you'd need more than the bezel.
