Cooper Zeon LTZ tires

Does anybody have any experiance with these tires? I was looking at a set on Treadepot and they had a 5 star rating from everybody on there, but most of them had them on 1/2 tons or small SUV's. I'm looking for a set of tires that will last a while and won't break the bank.

I looked at them when they first came out. I dont think the weight rating was up to par....

Okay, I was also looking into the Kumho Ecata STX tires. I think Rich (Unbroken) has a set on his truck and really likes them.

My truck still tows every once in a while, upwards of 15,000lbs at times, would these tires still do well? Also, I like sticky tires, my truck is getting set up to go down the 1320 and every little bit helps.

your just going to have to check the load rating on them, i towed with mine but being a half ton i doubt it was ever more than 5-6k at a time

Re: Cooper Zeon LTZ tires

I had them on my F350 for about a month before I traded it in. They are a nice tire, like the tread design and they were quiet. Can't tell ya about the wear and mileage though.

Re: Cooper Zeon LTZ tires

I have a set on my truck. 305/55 r20, and they are E load range. The smaller /50 tires aren't..... They are silent, look good and gave my truck a nice stance.... I only have about 1500 miles on my set so far
