22.5" tire options
I have been thinking of going with 22.5" Aloca wheels and Michelin 255/70 tires for my F450. For anyone running these tires, how do the tires ride and handle? Any performance issues on the highway going up a hill due to extra tire weight and any steering issues? What kind of tires do you like best? I was thinking of running the XZE on the front and XD2 on the rear since the truck is 2wd. I was thinking the highway tires on the front would give better ride quality. Also, what is the minimum tire pressure you can run in these safely?
I was also thinking of getting the rear tires siped since we get 100-150" of snow here a year sometimes and almost none of these 22.5" tires seem to have much in the way of siping. The only one I found that is heavily siped from Michelin is the XDN2 and its minimum size is 40".
