Ya I got 2 of them. The internals were supposed to be made in TN and the bodies were made in China.

Got Boost?

Re: Chrome Alternator

It would be nice if you could buy the body and use your existing internals. I tried....no luck, now I have a spare with 20K of use.

Re: Chrome Alternator

I investigated that route, however it was going to cost about the same price as an out right purchase. This way I have no down time and a spare as well. I looked at polishing the brackets for the alternator and the AC comp. but as it turns out the castings were so poor I ended up powder coating.

Be careful Joey, I am trying real hard not to tell anyone how you had to cry yourself to sleep at night for the three days you were here. I was not sure if you just missed Nelly or you were truly moved by the movie you kept watching over and over locked in your room........Broke Back Mountain was it?
