Brakes refuse to bleed

Posting this for a friend of mine- (means I'm not there to see it or work on it myself)

Truck is a late 99 350, that has brakes that will not bleed. Tried pumping them, old fashion gravity bleed, & so on. Got alot of air out of it but the pedal is still useless. I know the SD doesn't have an ABS module like the OBS does. What's left after that, master cylinder?

Re: Brakes refuse to bleed

Try bleeding it right at the master cylinder to see if it will even move fluid through it...........

You talking about pulling the lines off, letting it bleed out then re attaching them?

Re: Brakes refuse to bleed

Problem solved, master was "Fubar". Replaced it & it works fine now.

Re: Brakes refuse to bleed

This was a nightmare, just sayin.

Master was fine when I first tested it, replaced a caliper and the couldn't find a mysterious air pocket.. bled them like 7 million times.. also at the abs mod and the master with no luck then she refused to bleed all together so I tested the master again and no good....
aannnnnnnnnnnd then my front passenger caliper locked up last night

FML.
