Anyone use the new Delo 400 XSP 5w-40 (CK-4) oil in their 6.0?
The Delo 400 LE (CJ-4) is getting harder to find. The new CK-4 version is Delo 400 XSP. In the tech data sheets Iíve found on it, it says ďXSP is fully compatible with previous engine models, and previous API oil service categoriesĒ. Iím assuming all of the other common synthetic 5w-40 diesel oils (Rotella T6) are also switching over to this new CK-4 ďemissions exhaust friendlyĒ oil formulation?
Am I ok to run Delo 400 XSP in my 6.0 powerstoke even though itís not CJ-4 rated?
If not, what are you guys running in your 6.0ís? Iím assuming that eventually itís going to be all but impossible to find any CJ-4 rated oils for our trucks.
