Backup Camera

I'm looking for a backup camera for my E99 SD. #I'm wanting a quality camera as good a OEM, and I'm wanting as clean of finish as OEM. #any suggestions? #

Re: Backup Camera

Why stop there? Why not consider an on board recording device with front and rear camera's?

Re: Backup Camera

Get a newer tailgate or handle assembly that has the camera.
Then a supporting radio.
Or mirror as above.

Re: Backup Camera

I ordered a pretty good camera with 25' cable online that fit above the license plate for my Ex, combined it with an ok radio from Walmart and a mounting kit that had good reviews. Mounting brackets were Metra brand, ended up modifying them as I didn't like how it fit. Different radio may have fit better with them. I did not want to have the radio mounted to the dash panel so ended up screwing it to brackets on the inner dash so it stays put when I pull the dash panel. Lots of youtube videos, play with your style of radio and it can look stock.
I'd like the camera mounted a little higher, for the Superduty's I like the idea of getting a newer tailgate with the camera.
