Fuel filter on 7.3l

On my 7.3l I have the FASS fuel pump system and Im going to do the install over the weekend, with this system do I even have to put the fuel filter in at the top of the motor? Id rather have an inline like many other companies I hate the filter on top of the engine the only part I dislike about my motor.

Re: Fuel filter on 7.3l

The post fuel filter on the fass is a 2-6 micron depending on which one you use. So just pull the filter from the housing in the engine bay and remove the stand pipe. It has a check valve in it. Then just out the cap back on.
