Re: Lifted truck how much can I tow?

well if the springs are rated for the same as stock then what ever your stock max is... We tow all the time with lifted trucks up to and over what the truck is rated for.. its really only limited by that those springs are rated for and what your comfortable with

Re: Lifted truck how much can I tow?

When I bought the truck the guy had stock springs in the back with three stacked blocks. I did not feel very safe with that setup so I installed some Fabtech 6 inch long travel springs. Will this work? Or what should I get? I am not a big fan of the trucks that sag in the back I like it level or a little raked in the back.

Re: Lifted truck how much can I tow?

Aftermarket springs will do that most of the time when towing, because they eleminate the factory overloads...

If it sags when you tow, throw on a set of airbags and you're set.

Re: Lifted truck how much can I tow?

You should be able to tow up to your max towing capacity, just as you could at stock height. I tow a lot. I added air bags to keep it from squating with a load on it. My truck has a 4" lift and I run 35's.
