Painted headlights - now what to do with other lights?

I am doing a front end makeover on my 2008 Dark Copper King Ranch.
I have a Harley grille, and working to source some matching Harley front fender vents. The grille and vents will be done in a paint-to-match theme. I am going to take apart my headlights and either do the blackened effect for the background, or maybe also some paint to match version (maybe some copper / blackened blend)?
What would look good for the mirror signal lights, top brake light, and tail lights?
I don't want to darken my stock ones - I feel any reduction in light output is a move to be unsafe. Any clear options that can also be darkened in the background areas like the headlights??
Looking for input and / or pics...

Just spray one coat of VHT for a classic look.
