2010 4x4 chassis with 21k for $2750 and no damage. I would be using it to do put the axles in my obs. I don't want to buy axles with a ton of miles that will need new parts. Opinions?

Found another complete one closer for 1500 but more miles. 87k shouldn't be anything to worry about right?

Re: Good price or not? $2750 for complete rolling chassis.

How much more is on both other than axles? I've seen so many different things called a 'rolling chassis' it's hard to tell just on those two words. Hell, some guy recently listed a "2000 F350 SRW rolling chassis 11k GVW / 127k mi $3500" and it turned out to be just about everything minus the cab. Motor, ZF6, electrics, you name it except for a front seat to sit in. I wanted to hate my buddy for scooping that one up.

A rolling chassis to me is a frame, two axles and front suspension including steering box.

Re: Good price or not? $2750 for complete rolling chassis.

To me that's sky high for a rolling chassis unless its got factory aluminum 20" wheels and new tires on it. Going price for 05-10 front axles seems to be around $500-700 and a little less than that for a matching 10.5. The brackets and arms can also be had for cheap from yards if you can search them.

The only way you can justify that price is if they were 11+ axles since the front axle alone is still going for $1k and up. Check out Nordstroms. They usually have pretty good prices on 05+ axles and they ship for a reasonable amount.
