Looking for ideas for a removable cb location

I'm looking for a location for a cb radio that is completely and quickly removable. I plan to only have the cb in place when I go on a couple of big trips each year. I am thinking of having something that sits in front of the 20% of the split bench seat that is in front of the gear shift and straps around the center seat. I already have a very nice install on the antenna that is completely removable so that all I have to do is connect the antenna to a cable that is already wired into the truck. I am going to simply connect the cb to the auxillary power outlet. I know hard wiring is better, but this is only going to be in the truck for about 3 weeks a year. Any good pics? Thanks.

Re: Looking for ideas for a removable cb location

I always had the idea of getting an overhead console like the ones that have the knobs for an AC and heat, removing the knobs and plate and sticking the CB through there. Then running the speaker cable behind it and into the cubby so that I can close it up in there and not have it hanging down where I can see it.

Get what I mean?
