Anyone removed the body molding on an 08 or newer?

i wanted to remove the moldings off the doors, i just wanted to be sure there are no holes. it looks like double sided tape to me.

I had the moldings off my Excursion and there were no holes. It was held on by double sided tape.

I took the ones off my race truck....double sided tape. I used fishing line to remove. Then removed all the glue with a rubber eraser wheel.

If its attached the same way as the 99-07's its just double sided tape. No holes

optional on trucks for a while I got lucky on mine it didnt come with them. on my 97 it was 2sided tape. IMO these trucks look alot better without the molding.

I must be a magnet then cause I got one the same week I took them off in the same spot that would have been protected.Got several more since then.If you don't have them,you will.
