Painting bed liner????

I have a small rust problem at the bottom rear of the ront wheel well. I wire wheeled off the flaky paint and treated with a rust converter. Now i want to bed liner that area and all along the the bottom behind the doors and pinch weld. I dont want the black to show cuz i am going up the fender a little for exstra protection.

Has anybody painted over bed liner before? The bed liner i have is the flat black Duplicolor. It seems like it will take paint. Any body try this or have any tips?

Re: Painting bed liner????

I would try it on a scrap piece of metal first. Line-X does color match. You could look into that if you want to spend the money.
