Got some "new" rims

A couple weeks ago I bought a set of 16x8 Weld Sidewinders from Recon250 on here and had them powdercoated "flat" (not dead-flat, but no powdercoat will ever be so...) black to pretty much complete my de-chroming. I was able to pick them up from the coater on Friday but since the tire shop I normally use was PACKED this morning I thought I'd have to wait until next week to get my tires broken down off the OE rims then re-mounted on the new Welds. Fortunately, I found a tire shop in town who could get me in today so I didn't have to wait until Monday like I thought and got 'em on this afternoon. The hub-cover mounting bolts for the rear are just a tick too long (odd, I know...) so I'll have to trim them but other than that, I am REALLY liking how the rims look. Heck, I may just leave the hub covers off for a while since the black hubs don't really stand out against black wheels.

Looks good. I left the hubs off of my wheels also , but at least paint the axle hubs.
