Best train horn?

Since they're always coming up with new product lines, what's the best horn out there right now?

02-350. CCSB - Drivetrain by Stauffer, fuel by Swamps, air by Barder, tunes by Gearhead.
04-250. ECSB - In the shop...7.3 swap.

Re: Best train horn?

Get a set of Nathans or a set of Leslies. They are expensive, but they are the best.

Re: Best train horn?

love my nathans :) the only thing i dont likeis how long they take to honk. its not like a traditional (truck horn) where its instantanious, its almost like it lags for a second while it fills up with air.

Re: Best train horn?

I loved my Conductor's Special set-up from Hornblasters.com. I've heard some that were a little louder, but none that had a better tone imo. And I think most that were at events that the Pumpkin was at will agree, they were plenty loud enough.

Re: Best train horn?

Nathans are the best but they are $$$$$

We sell both the Nathans and the Shocker series from Hornblasters and for the $$$ you can't beat the Shocker series horns.

Re: Best train horn?

What are the differences between the Shocker and Nathans? That's a huge difference in cost.

04-250. ECSB - In the shop...7.3 swap.
