05-09 oem wheels on 99-04 F250

will the stock oem 18" wheels fit on my early 99 F250 with no issues? I have a 2.5" lift.

They are the same lug but I've been told you need 2-2 1/2" more backspace for them to sit in the stock loaction?

You need wheel spacers to push them out more.

The 05-09 wheels have more backspace than the 99-04 wheels.

We don't recommend anything smaller than a 2" spacer for safety concerns.

so what would happen if i tried putting on the wheels without the spacers? would they not fit on or would they just hit the axle when i turned?

The tires would catch the leaf springs at full lock.

Other than that...just have the tires further under the fenders than they are now.
