A/C and Heater Question

So i was getting in my truck the other morning and put my heater to defrost like every other morning and headed off to work i got about half way to work and went to swich it to come out of the vents but it just stays on the defrost no matter which setting the control switch is on has this happened to anyone else?

Vacuum pump.
When it goes out it defaults to defrost so you can at least see out of the windshield.

Pump is under a hundred, not bad to replace at all.
Located on the pass. side inner fender next to all that A/C crap.....

Check the vacuum lines first.
