Rims

Im looking at picking up a pratically new set of rims and tires for my early 99 F250 PSD, that were on a 2006 Ford PSD.

Rim Spec:
Rims: Monster XD Wheels 18"

Bolt pattern:8x170
Offset: -12mm
Back Space: 4.5"

Tires: Mounted 285 Nitto Dune Grapplers

Will these rims work on my truck? Currently Im running stock rims with Bridgestone Dueler Revos 285's.

Re: Rims

Offset is a tad bit close. Obviously the guy who originally bought those rims wanted them to stick out some on his truck, but I don't know if it's too close for yours to rub on the front leafs.

Just FYI: '99-04 Superduties wheels have different backspacing and offset than '05 and up. Also the lug nuts won't fit, different threading.

However, you are looking at aftermarket wheels. The backspacing specs that you posted is the same as the wheels I'm currently running on my truck, but I have a -25mm offset compared to your -12mm. Like I said, it might be close on your truck. Are the wheels local where you can drive your truck up, pop it on, and see if it fits?

I should be able to use my lug nuts on the rim right?

No the wheels are in new york So the offset with the lower number means it will be closer to the leaf springs. Is there a way I can check to see if I might hit my leaf springs?

Re: Rims

I also have a leveling kit and the truck sits pretty high right now. It seems like I could go a bit bigger and not have a problem.

Re: Rims

Tire size will be fine. As Recon posted, he had wheels with that same offset that fit fine, so you should be ok as well. As for using your current lug nuts, it depends on the new wheels if they require the acorn nuts or not.

Re: Rims

Yes, they will work.

You will need 14x2.0 acorn style lug nuts.

4.5" BackSpace is what you want on the 99-04 trucks.

Offset is the distance of the WMS in relation to the true center of the wheel.....so go with a 12" wide wheel and you'd have a -51mm offset, but still have 4.5" of backspace.
