Spare Tires Question

Will a 285/75/16 spare tire fit in the stock spare location under the bed?

Re: Spare Tires Question

Thats what is on my spare rim right now, I figured a 35 wouldn't fit, I just really hate having my spare in the bed of my truck, and now that my exhaust doesn't go near that area I want to put my spare back under the truck.

Re: Spare Tires Question

I had a 285 spare that fit perfectly. Now I have a 35" and I haven't been able to get it to fit yet. I think I'm going to have to take the sawsall to it to make it work.

Re: Spare Tires Question

I have a 285/75/16 stuffed up under mine even with my MBRP cool duals exhaust with no problem.

Re: Spare Tires Question

I have seen pics of a 35 fitting in the stock location but the exhaust had been dumped before the axle. Does anyone have any pics of mounts for the bed? I can't lose the tailgate, and have a toolbox in the front of my shortbed. Tryin to fit a quad and 35" spare is turning out to be difficult.....

Re: Spare Tires Question

My exhaust doesn't even run through that area any more now that I have stacks, so i don't think its going to be a problem!
