paintig the Grill

Painting the grill on my truck need help. Paint the whole thing or just the outsides of it and leave the horizontal bars chrome? Come on give me options.

I would leave the bars chrome and paint the rest looks sharp that way. Seen a truck on here that did that

I would paint just the outside and leave the chrome bars. Are you going to really paint it or Plasti-dip it?

Good friend of mine has a Bodyshop and is going to paint it for me. So REAL paint.

leave teh bars chrome, you have some chrome on teh truck now.
bumpers emblems on teh side, i think it would look sharp.

2008 got a new flex pipe installed. S-b intake, 4in dp back exhaust, gear head tunes All deletes done now.
flow pro hot pipe. CCV mode.

Let me know how it turns out because I'm curious to do this as well. Tempted to plasti dip it to give me an idea but I'd rather get it painted.

I see we share the same taste in wheels. I went with the chrome 20x10's though......anyway.....

When I bought my truck the grill was pitted to the point you could see the copper under the chrome. I ordered a new grill from Ford..... I asked their body shop how much to paint everything that was grey and leave the chrome alone. When all said and done the grill was over the 400.00 mark. It looks awesome and it's a real eye catcher.

Well she is all painted up and looks good. Sorry no pictures I had to ship the truck out the next day to Guam. Once the truck get here to Guam I will take pics.
