moving rear seat forward

i have an 04 crew cab and ive heard people flipping a bracket to move the rear bench seat forward. can it be done with an 04?

04' F-250 6.0
fx4 crew cab
sct x4 Innovative and Jesse warren tunes
straight piped
swamped 58V FICM
egr delete 155/30 warren injectors adrenaline HPOP

okay thanks. do you know if there is enough room to redrill the brackets for about 1" more room?

I've done it to three trucks (the redrill trick). You'll get about 3/4" out of it.

trying to fit a sub box behind it. the box fits behind it but the seat wont go back, so i need as much room as i can get

i did it in my 03 with the rear bench. but i found it moved the seat way to far forward. so i flipped them back and re-drilled my holes an inch forward. worked perfect. passengers can still get in and out and i have plenty of room for my subs back their.

im going to try and drill them out this weekend. if the box i got doesnt fit has anyone built one for 2 10's and still have the dimensions. the box i got is for under the seat of an ext. cab. but it only needs a little bit more room to fit behind the seats of my crew cab
