Sound deadener on firewall

Is it worth while to put some behind the factory sound mat on the inside? I have some stuff I got off ebay a while back and before I put the interior back in the F550, I figured I would ask. I could always do the floor and back of the cab later

Looking for Blue 40-20-40 seat for OBS. PM me if any known

Re: Sound deadener on firewall

This topic came to light at the right time for me. I had the same? I am in the midst of getting rid of the uncomfortable factory bench and installing Chevy seats. Should just change body to a Chevy then I might like the truck more. HA HA I was pricing dyna mat to muffle some of the engine noise. I would rather hear the exhaust than the clanking of the engine! I guess i am spoiled with my 2011 2500 HD DMAXX.
