Re: will a 295x75 fit

They might fit but should be a min. 8" wide wheels vs. 7.5 per tire manufacture.

I put 285/75/16 on my factory 7.5" wheels and couldn't stand ride steering and sway was too much for me. Went to an 8" wide wheel and it made a big defferece on steering and taking out a bunch of the sway.

You wouldn't think that 1/2" would make such a big handling difference but it really did.

That's what I was thinking...the truck has a 285 on it now guess I will stick with that ...if I get to put a lift and wheels on it I will go bigger then .

They will fit fine if you don't inflate the tire to the max you don't get the bulge and the sway effect. I've got 305's on my truck and run them at 50-55 psi and they have a nice flat contact and no sway I'd say do it.

This is the closest I have right now but you can get the general idea from it if you need a close up picture of tire and wheel I can hopefully get it tomorrow.
