7.3 chip problem

I've got an old van aaken chip.....

I'm new with the diesels and dont know very much about them.... learning as I go lol

I put the chip in my 2000 F250 7.3 with the nvk4 and it gives me the SES light.... no "wait to start" light and I get a "crank but no start". Once I remove the chip the truck runs and start normal...

The chip is a 4 bank thats marked nvk4. I pulled the computer out and made sure the terminals are clean....

Any ideas?

Re: 7.3 chip problem

It may have been reburned for a different pcm though, I'm not that familiar with that style chip but I think they're reburnable. That would be my guess though
