Can you add shakles to an existing lift?

I have a new set of 38x13.5 Toyo MT's on the way, I know they are gonna rub a litte with only my 6" lift. Question is can I get a set of from hangers that they use for the leveling kits, 2", and add them to get a little taller?

Will it effect enything at all? I would just get the 6" rear block from DR and put it inplace of my 4.5" rear block now to raise the rear.

I wouldn't change the shocks bc my truck never gets flexed and doesn't do ANY offroading.

I made a set of shackles for the Excursion with Chelseas 6" lift. Gave her about 1" more...

Yes you can. You'll prolly need a longer pitman arm....like from an 8" kit. You will also probably need an adjustable trackbar.

Dont forget, anything over 8" is borderline for needing crossover steering.

Warrior shackles = 1.5". Easy solution. cost is about 70 bucks.

Those would be easy, can I use them on the rear as well?

No, the rear springs hang from the shackles, not off them...

Re: Can you add shakles to an existing lift?

]Also. Just for reference, Here is 6" Pro Comp springs (same as you right?) with 3" Trailmaster hanger/shackle kit. I actually prefer more fender clearance over the stuffed look.

From WAY back in the day.

Re: Can you add shakles to an existing lift?

Yes you can turn it into a 8 or 9" lift with shackles. You need to talk to DCspecial. He knows exactly what you need. I have talked with him about it before!

Re: Can you add shakles to an existing lift?

RCD 2" hanger and shackle with an adjustable trac bar for the front.

Larger block for the rear as you mentioned.
Or you could do a smaller block in the rear and the Fabtech 3" rear hanger and shackle setup.

Without knowing the shocks you have it's hard to comment on them, rears are easy to rotate the lower mounts on the axle tube upward to compensate for the additional lift.
