Koolvue 08-11 mirrors? Who has a set?

If you have these..can you confirm that the upper cap is removeable like the OEM ones? I have white OEM caps already and hoping I could pop them on a set of these....

Yeah it is. I removed mine and even used a ford oem painted cap.

How hard is R&R on those caps?

No problem glad I could help. The only hard part is taking the mirror out w/o breaking it. There are two screws holding that plastic cap on right behind the mirror. I actually used oem mirror caps on the Koolvues.

Good deal. I was really skeptical about the own caps working with aftermarket. How is the quality of the mirrors?

Not bad at all. However nothing beats oem. I actually sold mine because I want the power fold/telescoping ones. And another thing the koolvue uses a different glass. So if you break a mirror or need to replace it, the oem replacement glass will not fit the Koolvue mirrors.

Gotcha. I had Oem 08s on the old truck....but that was before they marked them up to 650-700 bucks. Screw that.
