Modded H2E

What is your opinion on it? Will It spool up faster then a QSSB? How much HP can it support?

thanks,
Andrew

Re: Modded H2E

it will be laggier, never ran the qssb so not sure how much laggier. It will support enough hp to bend forged rods. You will need upgraded valve springs also.

Re: Modded H2E

I did not know I needed upgraded Valve Springs.

I have head studs but they are not installed.

How fast does the KASB spool up compared to the QSSB?

I want something that spools up as fast or faster then the QSSB but kicks ass on the top end as well. What turbo would that be?

thanks,
Andrew

Re: Modded H2E

a turbo that flows good up top and supports alot of hp is not going to spool as well on the bottom.

Is there something that spools close to the QSSB that will support the top end as well? If I get the turbine housing ceramic coated will that make much of a difference?

thanks,
Andrew

GT42r? Only thing I can compare it to is the GT38 turbo I had. I dont notice any difference in spool up but it feels like it pulls a bit harder in the lower rpms than the 38, and then when the rpms come up a smidge man it builds boost fast and pulls really hard.

thats good to know because isn't the spool up on a 38 instant?
How much is it for a GT42r? Does include a mounting kit? How much hp are you making with the 42?

thanks,
Andrew

Re: Modded H2E

Just get a smaller boost gauge. Like a 0-15psi one. It'll make the turbo look like it's spooling up ridiculously fast...

I don't think you can get a huge high flowing turbo that is gonna spool instantly, you have to give up one for another.
