Mini-Me's

What exactly is a Mini-Me?? What makes them different from stage 1,2 and 3's?? Can I run them in my PMR truck without shoving a rod through the block???

Re: Mini-Me's

Mini Me is a stage III. It's a hybrid injector. and i wouldn't dare run them on pmr's.

with pmr's i think you need to stay with stock nozzles.

Re: Mini-Me's

Stage One's are anywhere from 160cc-180cc with stock nozzles

Stage Twos are the same 160cc-180cc but with aftermarket extrude honed or edm'd nozzles

A stage one and stage two are generally the same injector, they just put different nozzles on them

Re: Mini-Me's

It's perfectly safe to run Mini-Me's on a PMR equipped engine, HOWEVER, I would have them detuned!!! At least, until you upgrade your rods.

Re: Mini-Me's

Kainers is running 530 hybrids with stock nozzles. That is the absolute BIGGEST I would go.

Mini Me nozzle size scares me, although Dzacc is still holding it down.

Good tuning is a must!!!

I like to think of mine as stage 1.5's . I think anything in the 180-200cc range can be tuned to run safe with stock nozzles.

Mini me's are 238 cc with big nozzles, a walk on thin ice IMO.

Kainer's 530's are 250cc????? but stock nozzles. Still quite a bit of fuel.

Re: Mini-Me's

Just toss in a set of BD's with stock nozzles. I did 428rwhp on that setup with two pumps. Well, they were technically BI's, but they were nozzle limited.

If you just ran on the single OEM pump you would probably nose down before you had a chance to get up on top of them. Although you would still be capable of moving more fuel at any pressure than an A-code like a stage II.

B codes are ~6:1 whereas A codes are ~7:1. B codes use less oil than A codes for any given fuel flow.

Did I mention that full B-codes are cheaper than hybrids?

Re: Mini-Me's

I ran bd codes on my PMRs and I was and am running .0075 EH tips. I broke. That was due more to the fact that I like to push the upper limits more so than the Injectors I was running. 530s are big fuel no matter how you look @ it. I'd say stick with agressive stage 2s if you want to stay safe.
